Our Journey To Malia

A TINY LITTLE GIRL IN A FAR-AWAY
LAND AND WE HAVE BEEN CHOSEN
TO HOLD HER HAND

It is true that she is tiny and I can hardly believe that
we were chosen for her by our agency Homeland and she was chosen
by the grace of our Lord for our family.

Xi, Tao Yan who will be Malia Jeanette TaoYan Campbell
was born cleft affected in Jiangsu Province March 25, 2007.
Her chinese name Tao Yan means Pottery burning hot.
Don't you love it. I knew she was ours when I read what her
name meant. She will be named after her wonderful grandmother
Jeannie Campbell who has been such an inspiration in our family.
Jeannie has undergone 2 open-heart surgeries and survived cancer.
She has always been the life our our extended family, such a loving
grandmother.

Of course we were a bit pressured to pick a "M" name and
continue with the "M &M" sisters. And so Malia was chosen for her.
There are so many ways to spell it I am finding out and so this is it
for now. We are awaiting PA and hopefully this week I can post her
picture. Our dossier is almost complete and I am aiming for Dec.1

Malia will be welcomed home to sisters Courtney , Heather, Mia and Marissa and a brother Clay .
We have been blessed with a granddaughter Addison who will be 1 in Dec. and
we have another granddaughter on the way Annazelle.
